Dr. Alex ShelleyDr. Alex Shelley grew up in Taylorsville, KY and graduated from Spencer County High School. He attended the University of Kentucky for undergraduate studies and then earned a DVM degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Shelley and his wife, Jessica, have three sons- Jackson, Gabe, and Seth, two dogs- Biscuit and Buster and three grand dogs - Brick, Brutus and Millie. During his spare time Dr. Shelley enjoys playing guitar, singing, golf, travel and family time. |
Dr. Grant CrabtreeDr. Crabtree is originally from Bardstown, Kentucky. Grant received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University in May of 2023. He and his wife, Darian, are the proud parents of their cat Batman, and the best Labrador Trio: Cole, Mud, and Rosie.
Grant enjoys anything outdoors and you can almost always catch him engaging in activities including mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, or just playing with his pups. As a true Bardstown native, he never turns down a good bourbon while sitting around a nice fire with friends and family. Your fur babies will be well taken care of by Dr. Crabtree and he looks forward to working with the people and animals of Bardstown! |
Dr. Lisa SeibertDr. Seibert has been providing veterinary care to the Bardstown community for nearly 20 years. She attended Auburn State University College of Veterinary Medicine. This Bardstown native brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team.
Dr. Seibert enjoys spending time with her husband, Doug, and her children, Jack and Anna. She has four grand dogs, two cats of her own and several aquariums to keep her occupied in her free time. |
Dr. Allison Ingram Deaton

Dr. Allison Ingram Deaton grew up in Greensburg, KY working on her family’s beef cattle farm and floating on Green River. She attended Western Kentucky University before earning her DVM at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Ingram and her husband, Kelley, have two dogs: a springer spaniel named Lucy and a beagle named Doc. In her spare time, you will likely find her gardening, hiking, or baking something new. |
Dr. Miller Young
Dr. Miller Young is a proud native of Columbia, Kentucky, where he grew up working on his family’s beef cattle farm developing an appreciation for animals and rural life. Dr. Young earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky. He went on to receive his DVM from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing his
clinical training at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Young enjoys working with both companion animals and exotics.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Young is an outdoorsman who enjoys farming, exploring nature, traveling, riding anything with two wheels and growing his reptile collection. Dr. Young shares his life with three beloved pets: Zeus, Mr. Wiggles, and Toad, who serve as a constant reminder of why he loves this profession.

Taylor McKinney, Hospital Manager
Taylor has worked with Dr. Shelley since she was in high school and quickly became an essential part of his success. Taylor and her husband, Evan, have two children, Laiken and Parker, and a mini farm filled with dogs, cats and horses that are beyond loved.
